Not Living In Mesa? Other Opportunities for NAFFA Parent Classes

With the start of NAFFA’s S.A.F.E Parent Resource Center (Strengthening All Families Everywhere) on September 6, Fatherhood is Sacred® and Motherhood is Sacred® will be taught every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. This event is the chance for parents to really hone in on some parenting skills but what if you don’t live in the Mesa area?

Eventually we will have a Zoom link for the Wednesday classes but in the meantime there are recorded parenting classes which NAFFA created during COVID which are posted on NAFFA’s website here https://www.nativeamericanfathers.org/workshop-and-classes

Parents can also find more helpful videos on NAFFA’s Youtube Channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@AZNAFFA8/videos

Parenting in today’s world can be very difficult. Children don’t come with a handbook so learning how to be a good parent is always needed. One of the first lessons we learn from NAFFA’s parenting education is from our Three Pillars of Change: Self-worth, Identity and Purpose which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke9JINCZPlo

Much of a person’s self-worth is tied directly to the safety and well-being of the child to the strength of the parents. Parents lay the foundation of a child’s life. Not the schools, churches, agencies, or friends. Parents are the most important. A strong self-worth produces a positive attitude toward self and others and parents need to strengthen themselves in self-worth so they can strengthen their children. Learn to value, love, recognize and embrace the truth about how self-worth can improve your parenting skills.

Identity means those perceptions we have about ourselves over the course of our lifetime. Who we are in our lifestyles, culture and family gives us our identity. This also includes that part we have no control over as in gender, race or body image.

Purpose is important because it strengthens a persons’ foundation. Where do we want to go? What do we want to do? How do we want to get there. Our own purpose brings direction, discipline and self-improvement.

A strong self-worth, identity and purpose is the source of our personal strength and power. Get on board with our webinars and workshops online and your parenting skills will improve daily.
