The Fatherhood Is Sacred program has
changed lives! I always tell people that
some of the fathers who come into our
program, you can take their picture
and put it on a poster and imagine the
worst father ever. That’s how these
fathers “used to be”…….lazy, good for
nothing, no goals, no vision, all about
“me, myself & I” mentality! Fast
forward to after having been in our
Fatherhood Is Sacred
program………you can take their
picture again and this time put it on a
poster of a “Father of the Year” award!
These fathers change from “within”,
they start to work and provide for their
families, show their children love and
affection. For the first time, some are
actually “responsible”, and think of
others first instead of themselves.
That’s what this program has done for
our Native American fathers; it has
given them hope and shown them a
different way of life.
